Swim Team Clinics
Swim Clinics are for swimmers who are looking to prepare for the summer swim league season.
Fitness, Conditioning & Endurance
The primary focus of this clinic is to build cardiovascular and muscle endurance that may have lapsed during the fall and winter seasons. Stroke technique will not be the primary focus of this class. Swimmers must be able to safely swim 25 yards, using two of competitive strokes and be able to swim 15 yards of other two competitive strokes. Clinics are held in the Natatorium.
These clinics are designed to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the specific strokes listed for each session. The focus of each class will be on stroke technique for the listed stroke. Racing starts, turns, and finishes for the assigned strokes will also be covered. Participants must be able to safely swim 25 yards of each stroke covered in the session. Clinics are held in the Sports pool, rain or shine.
