Aqua Aerobics

Aqua Aerobics

$8 Residents / $10 Non-Residents

Aqua aerobics is the performance of aerobic exercise in a pool. It is a type of resistance training that is low impact and easy on the joints. The classes focus on aerobic endurance, resistance training, and creating an enjoyable atmosphere with music. The heart is working just as hard as with land aerobics and underwater exercise actually pumps more blood to the heart. Exercising in the water is not only aerobic, but also strength-training due to the water resistance. Moving your body through the water creates a resistance that will activate all muscle groups. Aqua aerobics is in a group fitness class setting with a trained professional teacher.

Aqua Aerobics classes are offered Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Registration opens at www.DublinRecGuide.com on the 15th of each month for classes that are scheduled to begin the following month. Class size is currently limited to 30 participants.

Instructor: Chris Petit
